Our Team

I feel very privileged to work in such an amazing and caring field. After 28 years as a hospital administrator in general practice, it has been a fun and rewarding transition to specialty practice at Veterinary Dental Center. My only wish is that your experience exceeds your expectations and that your loved one goes home a much happier, healthier pet.

Growing up I always wanted to work with animals, and I’m living that dream every day at Veterinary Dental Center. Nothing makes me happier than helping our four-legged friends live their healthiest, happiest lives. Outside of work I love camping and cuddling with my two dogs, Remy and Tilly.

Whenever someone asked what I wanted to be growing up, it was always something animal related. I received my CVT license in 2021 and fell in love with dentistry along the way. Outside of work, I love crafting and hanging out with my cat, Steve.

I’ve always dreamed of working with animals and the people who love them. After six years in general practice I moved into specialty care, where I discovered my passion for anesthesia and client education. On days off you’ll find me horseback riding, jogging with my husband, and tending to far too many houseplants.

I am blessed with an amazing family and a menagerie of adored pets, including three rescue pups. I’m passionate about animals and making sure they’re given the best lives possible — being part of the team here lets me fulfill even more of that passion.

I have loved all animals since birth. I began my career in the veterinary field 11 years ago and am grateful to be in a profession that involves helping animals. In my free time I’m part of the Dumped Bunny field rescue team — my home has been taken over by my own five rabbits and many fosters.

Originally from Miami, I moved to Chicago in 2014 to pursue veterinary technology and became certified in 2019. Assisting in surgeries and dentals is where my passion for dentistry grew. When I’m not working, I enjoy relaxing at home with my eight cats and one dog.

I’ve always had a passion for animals and science, and veterinary medicine lets me experience both. I earned my associate’s degree in animal sciences in 2016 and have been a certified technician ever since. Outside of work I love fishing, the outdoors, and playing classical guitar.

From a young age I’ve had a deep love for animals and a desire to help them. Over 14 years in practice I’ve assisted in countless surgical and dental procedures, and I truly feel I’ve found my home at Veterinary Dental Center. Outside of work I enjoy relaxing with my cats and playing in an amateur pool league.

I’ve always known I wanted to work with animals. I graduated from VTI Fox College in 2020 and love that this career is constantly evolving. At home I share my space with four snakes, and I enjoy hiking, skiing, and spending time with friends and family.

I began my career in 2010 and quickly discovered my passion for veterinary medicine, working with Dr. Juriga in dentistry. I rejoined Dr. Juriga and Alexandra in 2018 just as the Veterinary Dental Center was formed. I’ve always brought home strays and nursed injured wildlife — a passion that’s grown into a rewarding career.
